BLACKBIRD is button-popping proud to have won the Eisner Spirit Award for 2024! For the past 3 years BLACKBIRD has been in the finals for this award... and this year we were able to bring it home to Maitland, Florida! 

WHAT is an Eisner? The Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, aka The Eisners, are like the Oscars for the Comic Book Industry. Each year artists, writers, creators, and shops are recognized for their work and their contributions to the industry. These awards are held each year at San Diego Comic Con.

Shops from around the world are considered for this prestigious and meaningful award. Judges look at a shop's aesthetic, community outreach, promotion of the industry, and more.
